Welcome to my website.  I hope that something on this site  will bless and encourage you.

A native of Montgomery, Alabama, she was born Alice Beatrice Nixon on February 23rd to Laura and Samuel Nixon.  She is the youngest of four children.

·         She is a child of the Civil Rights Movement and was privileged to participate in the Freedom Marches of the 60’s.  Her mother refused to allow her children or herself to thwart the Bus Boycott in Montgomery and went on to house Freedom Riders from the North in their home.
·         Alice is the mother of six biological children, one grafted in and many spiritual children.  She is the grandmother of five and great grandmother of one.
·         She describes herself as an ordinary woman who recognizes that one of her gifts is writing.  She uses her God given ability to write works of encouragement and comfort to hurting and deserving people.
·         She has authored to date two books (The Up Side of Down in 2006 and Views of You In Shaded Hues in 2008) and is currently working on her Autobiography and a women’s book .
·         She was married in her youth and is currently a divorced widow.
·         Alice presents her works as moved by God .  She is a praying woman who is trying to pour every good work out of her vessel before she is called to return home to God.
·         The grave is full of talented people who died with their talents inside.  She encourages others to work their gift and even when hindered by others.  It is not the heights you reach in being recognized for your works by others that is paramount, but the depths you reach in touching lives.
