I Was With You All The Way
As the winds brushed upon your face on election night, I was with you, all the way.  It was me kissing your face, lifting your spirit and flooding your heart with joy, when sadness tried to overshadow your joy.  I had to shed this physical body when I did, to allow my spirit to move to a place to help you in another way. Oh what a night and oh what a joy to see this day.  Between worlds there is a place that the godly walk and by God’s design.  Your being conceived in the womb of a White woman was by design, as was your being fathered by a Black man.  It was no accident my grandson.  Furthermore, your Kenyan and Kansan heritage was no accident, nor your birth place Hawaii.  God ordered your footsteps as he did for David.  Gangly you are, unlikely you were, but by God’s design you were chosen amongst men and women for this great task. You were CHOSEN for this day, place and time in History. You were called before the foundation of the World.  Years ago and every step taken were ordered by the Lord.  “Yes you can” my grandson, “yes you can!”  You can do all things through God who called you to this place and blocked the path of retreat.  You could not go back if you wanted to, for he closed all doors behind you and opened an effectual one before you.  It is God that is in control and don’t you forget it.  Always honor him; never forget to watch as well as pray and that you not fall into ungodly temptations and are preyed on by sin. Your life and your legacy is a joint venture.  Restore honor to America, that America can once again mean the “In God We Trust;” a true Nation being under God and with “Liberty and justice for ALL.  Never forget, that it was God who called you and why you are.  Remember that God, family and country is priority.  Never shame or betray either by allowing your ego to get the best of you.  Hold to the strength of David and never take up his weakness.  Call your God; the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who will calm all your storms.
