Your Life is Death's Story

A man that is born of a woman days are numbered and his life filled with trouble.  Nevertheless, what he has done during his lifetime is his death story for the living.  You see, God has the inalterable recordings written in the books, therefore no sermon preached, song sang or labor of a man's hands is of consequence in the end.  Instead it is God's grace through faith that is the gift that saves.

While human nature leads us to uplift and pay homage to the dead, we must instead focus on the living.  We must remind them that the work is not finished and that time as we know it is winding down.  Idle hands are of no service to the master.  It is time to work, for when night comes the clock stops job done or not.  If he calls you today, you would you be left wanting?  I say be vigilant, and work each day as if it is your last, knowing that when you least expect, death will come to claim what is not his.  The gathering has begun and now is the time of knowing.  Mourn for a short while, and remember MeCene Labbe fondly, but know that time and eternity is closer than any of us know.  I say get in the race and busy yourselves for the harvest is great and willing workers few.  CR.  October 30, 2015, Ms. Alice B.
